My practice emerges from gaps in familial and regional memories of southern Italy. By working with these lapses in memory, I comb through the material aftermaths of rapid industrialisation, internal migrations and natural events connected to the region.

In accumulating the residues of what remains, layering emerges as a form and method: a means to echo how the past folds itself into lived experience. I often create holding structures where my family's past intertwines with broader historical narratives, using modified found material, casts, and metalwork.

In tracing what has been left behind, the work centres itself around material's timekeeping potential: its ability to hold memory and sensation when communities or people are no longer able to do so.

I live and work between London and Italy.
